And that is the answer to why each pair of engines is controlled as if they were a single engine. Captain Sim did explain this somewhere in this forum a long time ago.

I'm not sure about the engine sounds, but I'm guessing you sorted it out when you say "The result is awesome!". ;)


I was lucky enough to see 5 B-52Hs landing at RAF Fairford on 28th March 2019 in the UK. Awesome sight and sound, they even managed a few formation flypasts (2 aircraft at a time) and a number of obviously deliberate missed approaches. Great also to see the parachute deployed on landing. I have even managed to find a repaint for one of these aircraft noted there, 61-0015 (2nd BW, Barksdale AFB): the effect with my modified engine sounds is frighteningly realistic!
