Title: Re: Assumed Temperatur Reduction 757_200 Post by Swedsim on Mar 28th, 2019 at 1:55pm
Hello again,
Third time even more dumbfounded, All that I have mentioned so far above refers naturally of course to the 757-200SP which in my case has PW2037 engines. I have since tried another aircraft in the series, a 757-200SP with RB211535C engines. To my surprise and disbelief, another more confusing result. The standard rated Takeoff Thrust EPR 1.76 at OAT 15°C can be reduced with an Assumed Temperature of 60°C to 1.58 EPR which is wait for it, actually lower than the Climb2 Derate-Thrust of 1.62 EPR. So at 1000ft. AFE we get an increase in thrust instead of a reduction? Or is it me in my old age? Cheers, Swedsim |
