Title: 757-200 Interior on 757-300 Post by samwheeler on Feb 15th, 2019 at 11:32pm
Hi there,
I just purchased the 757-300, but the interior of the aircraft looks like the -200 model. Can this be looked into please? - Sam |

Thanks, but there's nothing to look into.
We think the 753 doesn't require its own special order PAX cabin. |

Well Mr. Captain Sim, at least have a look into the position of the Virtual Cockpit then... its way off (see pics) since you choose the easy way (copy paste the cabin)

"We think the 753 doesn't require its own special order PAX cabin."
Considering the the 753 is significantly longer, that means that turning and taxing in the cockpit doesn't align with the exterior model, GSX vehicles or any model that is rendered in the cockpit is going to be off centered. Jetway's won't connect to the right spot in the cockpit, etc. Please fix this.. - Sam |

I'm thinking about getting the 757-300, but before I do could you explain the issue here further. Are you saying that GSX doesn't put the vehicles in the right place? Isn't that an issue for GSX and not Captain Sim? Or are you saying that there is something wrong with the aircraft? If so, what exactly is that?

It is an issue with Captainsim, the placement of their cockpit model is wrong because they used the -200 model. It isn't as long as it should be, hence causing everything to be in the wrong place. |
Title: Re: 757-200 Interior on 757-300 Post by jerwin011 on Feb 17th, 2019 at 4:28pm
Sorry, I still don't quite understand. Is the issue that the distance from the L1 door to the nose is too short because it is longer on a 757-300 than a 757-200? If so, wouldn't you need a different GSX config anyway in the same way a different config is needed for the freighter?
Well, I just don't know. Hopefully, someone from Captain Sim will reply to answer the issue or provide a solution. |

Well I bought the addon today, and installed the fix that was in a link on a further post. No it's not default scenery but since I only fly within those :P that's the usual. But I don't see how that could be due to the scenery tho. IT was Imaginesim KATL. |

As you can see in the pictures (tell me if there is a problem with the links) I did use gsx. It's fine on the outside, as it lines up with all doors and stuff. I used it as a reference to show that it's missaligned in the VC, because while on the outside the trucks and jetway are fine, in the VC the jetway appeared right into my left hand windshield. So GSX is not the problem. It does its job like it should and a config fixed all my GSX problems. Now the only concern is the VC placement. It's too much at the back, in a way that any external object will appear ok on the outside view, but once in the inside view it won't look good at all. (look pics) |

I have seen it on Page 1 and there is something not quite right about those Nav lights. I installed the Expansion to -300 as per the Update to the Base Package and my 757-300 Nav Lights are where they should be. |

So since those lights are not well placed, will we get a fix? i don't care about the nav lights, but to me having properly placed taxi, turnoffs and t/o lights is the most important.
So, are the taxi lights misplaced? |

After trying to update my CS 757-300 from V1.304 to your postet Update V1.304 ;D, the nav and strobe lights are still missplaced...
even after a full reinstall... no solutions to the misplaced lights inside the cabinview ::) |
