Title: RB535E4B Sound clicky noise
Post by Dustize on Feb 9th, 2019 at 4:27pm
Hi,

when flying the 757F with the RB535E4B Engines i hear a constant "click" sound, when the engines are running.
Looking in the files of the airplane the sounds "FanA2.wav" and "FanB2.wav" seems to have these click sound.
Is there any fix to this? It keeps looping every 5 seconds.

I just played both of those wav files (from my P3D4 installation of the 757-III RR), but I didn't hear any clicking sound.

I hear it. More of a static click. You must be a headphone user because I don't think anyone without them will hear it at all.

Not through my speakers.

I had to turn my headphone volume up very high to hear them, and at that volume, the sound was on the edge of being painful to my ears - too loud.

Well, tbh it was the first thing i heared when starting up the engines. Even at idle thrust. And my soundlevel is normal and im not really audiophile.

I may be mistaken but would the OP by any chance be referring to the Stabiliser Warning sounds coming out, which is all I  heard rather than a distinct 'clicking' sound from that first link?

What sound do you exactly mean?

I don't think that we mean the same. I for sure can differentiate between a stabaliser warning and a static click, which is in the .wav.

In that case, good luck to hunting that clicking sound down because never heard it.

I don't know what your problem is, i already posted the .wav containing it. Just try to read the context before posting useless replies.

Just listen to the sound files with headphones and a normal volume level. It's not that hard.

With that attitude, you most certainly will get a lot of help!!!

I am not here to either run a sim with headphones or listen to you stupid  file. It's your problem, deal with it!!!!
