I don't think there is a bug as it does work for me and many others. Please check the following: Is the APU on? Is the APU bleed air on? Is the isolation switch on? Are both packs off? Are engine cut-off switches off? Then switch the engine start on #2 engine to GND. Wait for an N2 of about 23% and then switch on #2 engine cut-off switch to provide fuel Then it has to start.
