Title: Installation problem
Post by Mattw73 on Jan 2nd, 2019 at 2:25am
Using Windows 8.1 with FSX w/SP2  I was able to install and use the 757 III just fine.  I decided to go back to Windows 7 due to some CTD issues I could not resolve and now I cannot get the product installed.

The error I am receiving appears to be an invalid code and has even locked me out for an hour.  I know the code is fine since I am cut and pasting it from the original purchase screen.  I have used it to log in and downloaded the aircraft again so I know the email and code are both correct.  Offline activation also fails saying something about a bad or corrupted key file...

Is this an issue caused by Windows 7 somehow?

Yes I did that prior to posting,  the inspired response frustrated me so I decided to set it aside for a few days.   Last night I downloaded the installer and again received error 24 and the offline installation failed again as well.   The 777 captain FSX works just fine however so its hard for me to believe the problem is some setting on my end.

Just tried again on a whim, worked...  I didn't change anything or do anything different so I will just thank the Error 24 ferries.

Trying to move CS757 III to the new computer. I have done product uninstall from old computer and now I get error 24 when trying to reinstall and activate to the new computer. Manual activation does not work either.
