Title: SIMBRIEF
Post by rsmith6621a on Dec 24th, 2018 at 4:57pm

Is there any remedy to get CS 757 FP to load as Company Routes in the FMS using Simbrief.

I noticed Simbrief convert them in to xxxxxxxx.PLN format when they should be in XXXXXXXX.rt format.

Thanks

Randy

Try saving them in Documents\Prepar3D v4 Files folder in the standard .fxml format, then load them via the CDU.

Is there a reason my Simbrief FP wont load as a COMPANY-Route even though I type it in as the file is named?

Also I barely can here the engines spooling up inside the flightdeck even though my volume is turned up.

Regards
Randy

To load a company route, it must first be saved using the CDU. When saved from the CDU, the route is saved in the [flight simulator]\Captain_Sim\757-III\routes\ folder, as a .rt file.

If the Simbrief flight plan is saved in the Documents\[flight simulator] Files folder, then you need to load it into the CDU, then save it, and from then on, it can be entered as a company route.

From the ‘757 Captain III’Manual Part II – Aircraft Systems (CS757CAPTAINIII_MANUAL_PART2.pdf), page 378:

A company route can be called from the navigation database by entering the route identifier (the *.rt file name with no extension). The data supplied with a company route can include origin and destination airports, departure runway, SID and STAR, and the route of flight.

Title: insufficient fuel warning?

Why do I keep getting insufficient fuel warning when in fact I got more than enough

What do you refer to when you say you have enough fuel? On the current tank content, or the forecast fuel at the destination airport according to the PROG Page, or the entered value for the reserve fuel?

What are your Fuel reserves? Maybe your predicted fuel to arrive is including your reserves already!? Try to change your reserves to a lower value.

I put the reserve according to simbrief mostly 10-1100 lb
