Backup the panel.cfg file BEFORE you make any changes!!!!
Edit the panel.cfg found in the FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B52\panel folder: 1. Under [Window Titles], add Window02=GPS like this: [Window Titles] Window00=Main Window01=Simicons Window02=GPS 2. Change the size_mm=24,96 in [Window01] to size_mm=24,120, and add gauge01=SimIcons1024!GPS Icon, 0,96,24,24 under gauge00, to add the GPS icon to the Simicons panel. Like this: [Window01] size_mm=24,120 background_color=1,0,1 position=6 visible=1 ident=12101 gauge00=Captain_Sim.b520.icons!icons,0,0,24,96 gauge01=SimIcons1024!GPS Icon, 0,96,24,24 3. Add [Window02] like this: [Window02] background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=456,378 position=0 visible=0 ident=GPS_PANEL gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0,456,378 gauge01=SimIcons1024!GPS Icon, 7,17,20,20 gauge01 adds the small gps icon on the GPS unit (clicking on it closes the GPS) And if you click on the attached image, it looks like that when both the Simicons, and GPS panels are open. ;) Note. I use Windows Notepad to open and edit .cfg files. |
