I just need a little help, I don't like using the 2d pop-up panels in the VC if I don't have to, but I can't find all of the AP controls in the VC. I see the panel with the master switch, but I can't find the dials to activate the different autopilot modes. Can someone just point them out to me?

You can find them on the aisle consol, and the Heading Mode Selector switch is in plain view on the Captain's panel (also on the First Officer's Panel) - see attached image.
