You are better off just using TRACK mode with the Mode Select switch on HDG, GPS, VOR/ILS 1, or VOR/ILS 2, rather than using the Bank mode, due to the problems that you stated.
Note. I do find that the 3D AP Bank mode works better than the 2D AP Bank mode, but it still takes a lot of messing around to get back to the centre. :-/ |
