Hi guys!

I found a little problem with the weather radar (which is a must-have feature for a modern aircraft...).
When switching the weather radar on (pushing the WXR-Button on the EFIS) the fps are dropping from 40 to 25 fps and the sim begins to stutter.

I had these problems already with the weathre radar in the 767 and 757 in the FSX.

So...
1. Is it possible to use the Active Sky-Weather Radar in the CS 757?
2. If not, what could cause these stutters and what could be done to prevent this?

Hi Matthias,

I have also found this to be an issue. I hope it's fixed in the 1.1 update :)

Hi, have a same problems with 1.3 version on p3d 4.4, any idea for fix?

Hey Guys,

definitly the same here. While swiching WX-RDR off on the EHSI, my performance increases.
Should we deactive it in accordance with MEL and stay in VMC? :)

Hi, use 757 on fresh 4.4 installation. Have a only big problem, when show on ND the wx radar or radar terrain, sim lost over 5 fps and stutters appears. If don't show on ND, fps normal and no stutters. Why? Any idea for fix? Use last 1.3 version.

Is there any progress on this problem?

When switching the WXR or Terrain mode on, the sim starts to stutter and the fps are decreasing about 5-8 fps. That makes it unable to use...

Currently using 1.404. Thank you all in advance!

There's nothing to fix. The WX and the Terrain radars are complex software that process and dispays A LOT of data realtime. Obviously that takes some resources=fsp loss.
