Odd. When I follow the instructions and go to the Extended Download page, there is no 1.8 update there, only an option to download the whole 777 base pack. For 1.7 (my first update since buying) I found a page with just the update to click on.

Download the full installer, as that's how you upgrade to the 777 v1.8
