It's because it is similar to the Delco Carousel IV-A INS that was used for navigation in aircraft a long time ago. It works a bit differently to the SimuFly Delco Carousel IV-A INS (Version 1.51 Build 2296, October 2007). You can choose to use the SimuFly CIVA INS, or the CS CIVA INS. I prefer to use the latter. ;)

Note. For Captain Sim to include the SimuFly Delco CIVA INS in the VC, they needed permission from SimuFly, and I don't think they ever replied, so Captain Sim decided to do their own.
