Title: PFPX export directory for CS Fplans
Post by yvesamuel on Jul 10th, 2016 at 12:52pm
Hello,

When i  make a new plan in PFPX, I export it to the directory "D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D V3\Captain_Sim\navigation\routes", but I cannot see the plan in the 777 FMC.
Where is my mistake?
Thank's
Yves

You should be able to see it! I can see the ones I create and save using PFPX. However, when I try to load it, I get a CTD. This is because PFPX saves them in the old .rt format, which is different to the new format used by the CS777. :(

One more question : I use the GF MCP-PRO with GF Interface tool and tried to import the files created on their site by Rob (link http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/downloads.html), and they do not work : I have "0" every where, and when I turn knobs, nothing happens. Did you try? Did it work? Have you any idea?

thank's
Yves

Sorry, I wouldn't know because I don't have any of those things. I use the mouse, the keyboard, and a cheap joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro), for flight simming.

Hi Mark. I am a bit confused by this.

I am thinking of getting the 777. I use PFPX extensively.

Are you able to export PFPX routes to the 777 FMC? If not, how are you getting the route to load in the 777 FMC?

Cheers,
David

I can't load routes created with PFPX into the FMC in the latest version (v1.7)  of the 777! Captain Sim must have changed the .RT format, so PFPX no longer saves it in the correct format for the 777.

Note: I created a new route in PFPX, then exported it to Captain Sim, but I when I load it into the 757/767 FMC, it only shows the departure, and arrival, airports! So something really strange is going on.  :-/

If I create the route in PFPX, or FSC9.6, I will use that as a guide to enter the route into the FMC manually.

Thanks Mark.

I wonder what the format is for the 777 FMC?

No worries, I am kind of torn as to whether to go retro (737-200) for my next Captain Sim? :-/....That PDCS looks lovely ;D

David
