Does Captain Sim have any plans to introduce modern airline type panel to C-130J Hurricane Hunters?  I saw on tv that C-130J Hurricane Hunters are using modern airline type panels.

I think I saw a post somewhere about a new glass cockpit and they said no. they're gonna stick with the old school one

But Captain Sim CANNOT and SHOULD NOT say no because if they want to strive for REALISM, they should have modern airline panel on C-130Js if it actually happens in real life in C-130J Hurricane Hunters!!!! To say no would not be striving for realism and it is NOT realistic to fly C-130J Hurricane Hunters with OLD panel!!! :o :o :-[ :-[

I am willing to pay ten dollars for new modern airline panel installation for C-130J Hurricane Hunters and I am sure everybody would be happy to pay ten bucks to get new panel for that plane.

There will not be any updates to the current version, however, there is a C-130 v3.0 in the pipeline. There might be newer glass displays included in that, but I don't know.

Did that ^_^ I LOVE how the C-130 panel looks but ya a modern one would be nice :)

I wish I have programming skills to merge Vitaria C-17 Cargomaster's panel with Captain Sim C-130J because their panels are similar.

Even if you could merge, you can't, or shouldn't, add a jet engined VC to a turboprop aircraft. Not only that, some of the programming for the CS C-130, is included in the interior MDL file, and swapping it with another one would give you a lot of problems. :(

Hi, I completely redesign the aircraft with a lots details. it will be completed in a few week.  There is a fictif HURRICANE HUNTERS.

You can make changes to the panel.cfg, and aircraft.cfg, but you do so at your own risk. In other words, if you modify either/both of them, and the CS C-130 no longer works properly, you won't get support. So always make a backup of the panel.cfg before modifying it! ;)
