Is there a way to change the values on the engineer panel, fuel section from lbs to kg. I tried through ACE but always indicate as lbs.

Hi Would like to know too if this is possible. It bugs me out that i have to use Lbs and as OP pointed out changing the values in the ACE does not affect the plane.

I don't have a problem with lbs.

1 lbs = 0,453 kg
1 kg = 2,207 lbs

I think it is possible to switch the gauge to kg, but I can only show the approximate source where to do this because I'am not an XML-Pro  ;)

The Fuelgauges are in the file "Captain_Sim.p721.W01" - in this file there are 3 relevant XMLs where the values could be edited:

- W01_003_fuel.xml
- W01_009_fuel.xml
- W01_015_fuel.xml

But as I said before I'am not an XML-Expert, so any further solutions have to be shown from anybody else.

Furthermore you have to observe that the edited and saved xml-files have to be repacked correctly back into the file "Captain_Sim.p721.W01.cab".

Thanks for your answer. At ACE there it is a option to set fuel from Lbs to Kg, but doesn't work, i want to know what is the use of this option or if only a problem at my fsx se installation.

Hello,

I don't use ACE. or if, very rarely. I think this option is only for information and does not affect the Onboard-Gauge. You have the same option in the Standard-FSX Fuel/Cargo Dialog.

This is a mod that will allow LB/KG toggle via the V1 Datacard. Click on the 'LB/KG' box to toggle the engineer panel fuel tank displays.

Rename 'Captain_Sim.p721.W01.cab' to something like 'Captain_Sim.p721.W01.original.cab' before placing this mod into the 'CS_B727-100\Panel' folder.
