SP 2.5 works perfectly for me.  I do not have Acceleration, but have the latest service packs for FSX.  I did not uninstall anything, just installed 2.5 directly, after downloading.  I do not have any liveries for the 727 other than those that came with 2.5.  Appreciate the V1, VR and V2 callouts, as well as being able to follow the flight plan in GPS mode.  I am very happy with the update.   :) :)
