I look at the map in Flight Sim Commander 9 and measure distance/heading using the distance/measurement tool. I write the info in Notepad for the distance/heading to each selected waypoint, and use them as my guide. By the time I get within range of the VOR's in Ireland (or Nova Scotia when heading west), and either change the heading on the Doppler for the next leg, or switch to using the VOR tracking. :-/

I tend to fly using the INS most of the time, but Doppler navigation is fun. I stopped using it for a long time because it was very inaccurate (in v1.1), and did not know that it was fixed up in v1.2 for a very long time (I mention this in a post in the 707 forum somewhere). :D
