Title: 721 trim questions- for RW 727 pilots ( Lou)

I installed the micheal2 mod and v-one in my 727. I'm trying to determine the accuracy of these mods vs. the real AC in relationship to trim. If any RL 727, read this, I would love to hear from you.

Here's the scenario. The plane weighs 122,500 lbs. We're at SFO ( sea level). TAT = 16. MAC value is 33.7 % which calls for a trim of 2.3%. MAX T/O EPR for given temp and field elevation is 1.92. VR is 120 knot. Flaps 5.

I set T/O EPR and when I reach VR and pull back, the plane is soooo slow to get its nose up and take off. Once it does finally get airborne, gear comes up and I must immediately trim down to 0 or the tendency for nose up becomes too great and difficult to manage.
Then, I must immediately bring EPR down to about 1.5 and extend VS to 3000+ with a 15 degree pitch or it will surely bust 250 knots. 122k lbs. might be on the light side but it behaves the same when loaded heavier.   Is this how the real 721 handled given these values? Or perhaps the flight dynamics are off? Or, I'm flying incorrectly? I don't know being I have no RL experience. Seeking advice from those who do. Thanks so much

That is not the way a 727 flies!  :-?

Sorry, I don't have ANY mods in my 727 and it flies just fine.
If the trim is set correctly for the weight and CG it should rotate on it's own at VR.

Thanks Lou- that's what I needed to know. I'll play around with it to see if I can get it to behave the way you described. And I'm assuming the real AC balances out well after taking off ? So there's no rush to trim down as I'm experiencing?
