Title: Manual installation Post by zoran on Feb 18th, 2014 at 12:07am
Hi everyone, this is a good product and works very well however Im having a problem with the installer.
It keeps installing into the "voxatc" section in the pee em dg 737. This effectively wipes out the Voxatc comms page pop up How can I manually install the radar? |

As an example, I'll use the 737-800NGX panel.cfg to add it to.
Add Window21=CS Weather Radar at the bottom of the [Window Titles] section. Like this: [Window Titles] window00=Main Panel window01=Lower Main window02=CDU (Left) window03=Aft Electronic Panel window04=Fire Protection window05=Forward Overhead window06=Aft Overhead window07=Overhead Lights window08=Lower DU window09=MCP (full) window10=Radios window11=Zoomed Left Outboard DU window12=Zoomed Left Inboard DU window13=Zoomed Upper DU window14=Zoomed Lower DU window15=Zoomed Right Inboard DU window16=Zoomed Right Outboard DU window17=CDU (Right) window18=Minipanel window19=Light Sensor window20=Logic Window21=CS Weather Radar Then add this: [Window21] size_mm=525,386 window_size=0.44 position=2 background_color=1,1,1 visible=0 ident=11223 zorder=1 gauge00=WXR!wr_display, 81,32,364,279 gauge01=Captain_Sim.r001.P04!P04_radar, 0,0,525,386 Right at the bottom of the gauge (it's okay to put it there, the WXR Editor would add the gauge there if it was able to add it to the panel itself). To open the CS WXR, you need to go via the menu: ALT > View > Instrument panel > CS Weather Radar (it will be at the bottom of the list). |

I have the 737NGX (800/900) and 737-600/700 Expansion. It was not until quite some time after I posted my reply, that ALL of them use the panel from the 737-800NGX, so you can only do it to that panel.cfg, all the other are aliased to it anyway - change that one and you change them all. ;D

excellent, works like a charm ;D
yeah I knew about that, makes it easy to change the fleet. Did you know about the mod that sets the radar into the Lower DU? It works and looks great but there is a 5-7 frame hit which is to expensive for me |

Hi, I have also a problem to install. On a previous pc I had no issue. I want to reinstall with a new clean copy of FSX. Install is ok and I can see the wx radar window but It does not show anything in test. I cannot manage to get the "trusted" message to declare te wxr.dll. Anyone could help for declaration. I also did not have to confirm my order number although I have it. Strange !

Hi Pierre
In Vista/Win7/Win8/Win8.1, it is best to do the following: 1. Install the csr001_1100.exe using the Run as administrator option by right clicking on the file and selecting Run as administrator from the the list appears. 2. Make sure you run the WXR Editor using the Run as administrator by right clicking on the link and selecting Run as administrator from the list that appears. This is especially the case if FSX is installed in the default location - C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\ It might be that because it is not being installed with administrative authority, that it is not installing properly. Hope this helps |
