Don't forget the manual, either. There's a whole volume on the FMC which is actually pretty good. I think you'll find that once steps "click" it really isn't very hard at all. I can remember trying to figure out the format for the lat / long entry... not knowing I could just copy it to the scratchpad from last position and paste it in! It was the silly little things like that that took awhile.
