This is how it appears in my Missions menu:
And there is no Mission compass /pointer, after pressing the "U" key, no AI wingman, nothing. If I just sit there, the only thing that happens is the passing of time:
I followed you instructions and that's all that happens. I double checked the instructions and did everything as instructed to do. :(
