Sorry for lack of response to this, but my FSX has "chucked a fit" and I am about to do a reinstall (not repair). I have tried repairing FSX, about 7 times, but the problem remains the same. So fun and games for me are ahead!

Anyway. Back to you problem. I see that all, but the NORMAL/MANUAL switch, are in the same position. Do they work in sync with each other? Or did you move the 2D A/P switches to match the VC A/P switches?

The NORMAL/MANUAL Switch is never synchronous for me. But even though the switches were either in the same (NORMAL & NORMAL or MANUAL & MANUAL), or opposite positions (NORMAL & MANUAL or MANUAL & NORMAL), the A/P performed the same. I did not encounter any crash and it followed my GPS route perfectly fine. It is almost like the NORMAL/MANUAL switch is a dummy switch, it appears to be INOP!

Nothing I did with the C-130J and the A/P switches cause a CTD in FSX. It just happily flew along the route to the. :-/
