Thanks for the news on Flight 800.

Somewhere back in this thread I think I stated that on the night of the event I was giving a simulator check ride and during the break I walked into the mechanics area where a radio ( WCBS - News Radio 880 ) was broadcasting the story about the crash and it was mentioned that a satellite had detected a missile launch in the area of the crash.

It was never mentioned again!   :o
