Title: Re: Some problems with 1.1 Post by tf51d on Mar 10th, 2013 at 7:56am Shermann wrote on Mar 9th, 2013 at 3:33am:
I had the same problem when I installed 1.1 over 1.0+VNAV patch, Today I reinstalled 1.0 fresh, then 1.1 and I'm getting better results. I'm flying a long distance flight now FAOR (FAJS with CS NAV DB) to KATL (Which is a Dela Flight) which is 7492nm (8400+ miles) and so far so good. My climbout to FL340 (FAOR elevation is 5000+ft) took 14 minutes, which is in line with climbouts I've seen on Flightaware, for a 200LR. I tracked vertical speed which ranged from a high of 3800fpm on initial climb, to 1200-1400fpm closer to cruise. For an average of a VS of 2071fpm. So if you installed 1.1 over the VNAV patch, try installing it over a fresh 1.0 install. The only issue I see now is calculated remaining fuel at destination. 91KLB now and climbing which I think is a bit much, with a max load (Fuel and Payload). It's a 16 hour flight (I'm testing endurance) and I'm only about 1 hour out, so I still got a long way to go. Edit: Flight over - I'm getting the same rocking problem I got with the previous installation! Oh well, back to 1.0+VNAV patch, which has been very stable!!! Here's a full flight video I did with it. Note the problems on approach was caused by my video recording program (GameCam) not the 777. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSyJtZdZ62s |
