Post by Fccarmo on Mar 4th, 2013 at 5:06pm
Hi

I am novice in this forum and I am sorry if put this message on wrong place.
I just bought the Cs 777-200 and it's fully updated but every time I try to run it when I am entering the flight plan the fmc crashes.
That's my system:
WIN 7
ICORE 7 WITH 16 RAM
1TB HD
1GB ATI GRAPHIC
FSX WITH SP2 INSTALLED

Thanks!

dont worry, nothing to do with yr config. Mine does not accept FSX/ fsc8 FPL, same for b757.As I also get the 767, the only one that accepts ext FPL, I select it first, select the fpl then save it.
Finally, Change the plane for the 777...

FSC8 saves flight plans in a dual format (in the same PLN file) - the old FS9 format and it's own format! Although FSX can read and understand the FS9 format included in the PLN file, the CS FMC can't.

FSC9.x creates flight plans in FSX flight plan format (as well as many others), saving it as an FSX flight plan, it saves 2 different formats (in two different files) - FSX flight plan format (PLN) in the Documents\Flight Simulator X files folder, and it's own format (also PLN, but in a different format inside it, not FSX FP format) in <FSC9.x root>\Flightplan\FSC folder.

So the CS 777 FMC can load the flight plans created with FSC9.x.
