Getting the hang of it now. Just washed the original wing panels with a coat of ‘Off White’ (240,240,240) at an opacity of 40% to blend the underside wings perfectly with Marcelo Veneziale’s fictional QANTAS livery leaving just a wisp of grime. Had to do a lot more work on the top removing some of the grime prior to paint and relabeling all the NO STEP signs etc on a dedicated layer. By using slightly different recipes I’m able to modify most of my fleets wings accordingly. The grime can be altered on each wing to remove the symmetrical effect. It definitely would have been easier with a paint kit base pack.
