Title: simulated crew for CS 727 using voice, Anyone?
Post by FS++ on Feb 9th, 2013 at 6:38pm
Good day all.

A while ago, we have successfully interfaced the CS 767 & CS 757, providing a fully simulated crew operation using voice input.

We are keen to do the same with CS 727, including the flight engineer interaction.

However, we have no idea how many people might be interested (since it’s a very niche market), hence the question.

There are many other aircraft we can interface, but need to prioritise the work.

To learn more about the concept, visit this page:

Any takers?

Thanks

Ian

I recently bought a new set of headphones so I could buy Multi Crew Experience (I just finished the DEMO use). I love it and so as soon as I have the money, I will be buying it.

Seeing as I have all of the Captain Sim aircraft for FSX, I would appreciate and use MCE with all that are integrated into MCE. So for me it is a case of "the more, the merrier"! ;D

Mark and Pvjinflight

Thanks for your support.

Will be definitely interfacing at least 2 more CS aircraft this year.

Just not sure which ones should be "must interface ASAP".

Though it took a little longer than I intended, I finally bought MCE today! ;D

I definitely vote for MCE for the CS727. With the primitive systems of the era, this plane is quite a handful to manage and fly at the same time. An extra hand like in the real plane, would be a welcome addition.

Hi,

Have you changed e-mail address recently or still with verizon.net?

Thanks

I bought Multi Crew Experience last year without using the demo version before. So you can imagine, how interested I was in the software.
As I am using a localized (i. e. non-English) edition of Windows 7, according to the mce manual I have to use the tool "Vistalizator" for installing the English language pack and switching between the languages. In order to use mce with FSX I have to restart my Windows in "English" mode. I think this is a rather cumbersome procedure but I had to accept it.
I made my first steps with mce. But after some weeks had passed when I wanted to practice with mce again, I started Vistalizator in order to switch the language and restarted Windows.
But ... it wouldn't start again.
Perhaps in the meantime a Windows update made the Vistalizator language pack obsolete and consequently incompatible.
So, for the first time I had a mission for the system restore disk.
That was the straw that broke the camel's back. As long as mce requires switching the operating system language I won't use it again.
