If you get sent to Avsim, you need log in and then search for them, then download them. This is annoying and so I wish all of them would be uploaded and saved on the Captain Sim website for easier access. Sadly, many repainters choose not to do so.

Hi Mark and InverJus,
as a repainter I would if I could  :-?
but CS uploads were limited in size (don't know how much it actually is anymore) and as far as I can see there is no way of uploading at CS other then filling in an URL address e.g.f.expl.: the ref to Avsim. Maybe I'm missing something. Correct me if I'm wrong and I will upload the files at CS in the future.
I will however install them at Avsim as well as there is people who are not in this forum but check for new paints at Avsim or other sites directly.
best regards, Lex

Hi Lex.

Where you upload the image of the repaint [Livery/Mod Screenshot 256x128 JPEG image] (see image below), select the zip file of the entire repaint package (not just a 256x128 jpeg image). The files can be up to a maximum of 20MB.

Why in the life of me...they don't include painted liveries on their product. Why rely on a third party painter which some of the detail of the livery is inaccurate. That B777-300 package is about $13 with 3 liveries...
Look at other product, they released their planes with bunch of liveries as part of the package, not some bunch of guys who painted and uploaded to those SIM sites.

Most 3rd party developers provide repaint kits so others can do liveries for their aircraft. This saves them manpower and money. Nine times out of ten, there are no default liveries that I like with a given product, so I rely on others to provide the liveries I want or need. Works fine for me.

Unfortunately we no longer host liveries at our servers, you need to upload livery ZIP to any hosting server.
