hello,
i bought expansion 777-300. I had before installed 777-200 1.0.
unfortunately, when I start 777-300 (any colour and engine version) I can see only airplane without gear.....

777-200 works normally.
Any idea what can be wrong in installaition ?

The expansion pack is working fine for me too... for some reason I think you installed something wrong...

I've reinstalled the 777, still no gear. Ran the installers as an admin too. Restarting doesn't seem to help either. Any ideas?

Try Manual Offline activation. Please check-in to Your Profile and use Customer Support > Search KB > KB#31

What about fps in -300? the same as in the -200?

I think ti is actually slightly better.

If you load FSX and select let say Air New Zealand, it loads and standing on the runway or whatever. If you change from another plane, let say..Cathay, that plane will load with no gears.
So avoid changing aircraft livery once you start your FSX with a CS777.

My issue was not tirggered by loading a CS77 then another 777, it was loading the CS777 and not changing, or loading a Baron or C172 and changing over to the 777. Both ways had planes which lacked gear. The Manual Activation seemed to fix that though.

Re-Install it using the "Manual Offline Activation" process. Thats done the trick for many people.

Thanks for this tip but how to chose manual offline ... ??

You will need to do a complete uninstall (KB #685), that requires you to delete the 777-300 entry in the registry. Then when you reinstall the 777-300, you will need to activate it again, you are then given the choice to do an Instant Online Activation (this computer must be connected to the internet) OR a Manual Offline Activation (on this computer using another computer connected to the internet). Select the latter AND you can use the same computer to do the Manual Offline Activation. I do it this way all the time now on my current computer (which does have internet access).

Did you run the installer using the "Run as administrator" option (must be done for Vista/Win7/Win8)?

True. But it is best to Right Mouse Click on the file and select "Run as administrator" from the list.
You might need to disable your Anti Virus software too, as it might be interfering. I do both of those things when installing anything in my Windows 7 Professional 64bit, just to be sure that they install correctly.

Well something is definitely wrong if you've uninstalled correctly and reinstalled correctly you shouldn't have any trouble. uninstall it and use ccleaner to clean the registry and reinstall see how that works  ::) make sure you restart after using cc cleaner and also a good idea to restart when u have reinstalled it

Given the share number of people having this peoblem of CS anti piracy lock failing even after genuine install, is it not time to chnage the ani piracy tool.

I just bought this for 60 euros and i have plane sitting on tarmac with no landing gear or systems functioning.

Tried all the KB 685, 643 etc, but clealerly the problem is that CS piracy tool is preventing genuine purchasers as much as thiefs.

Its only fair to revise the installion and give us exe for 777 that works, even if it means you disbale the piracy thing just for those like me who just paid 60 euros for this plane with no landing gear.

Its in proper to send peole on errands in registry and knowledge base, when clearly its your anit piracy tech that is failing.

So far all threads to resolve this issue seem to end unresolved

I once entered a blank _ too much and it still installed but lead to missing gears and stuff. By certain professional standards where people pay for things, 2 seperate people turning up same day with same problem, is a very big deal.

A solution , or a plan to resolve would help, and even that is not available.

I totally agree with chris and jaskanfactor: piracy protection is all very well but if normal buyers suffer from it you are clearly on the wrong path!

I have exactly the same issues and went through all the "tips and tricks". Now it's friday night, I just bought the product to have a play this weekend, but I can't use it. I logged a ticket and it comes back saying customer support works from 9-5 monday to friday... wth?

p3DV2  cs 777 HAVE SAME PROBLEM...no landing gear and all display units are black and no hydraulic.

Reinstall the 777-200 Base Pack (csx772_1200.exe) and select Repair, then reinstall the 1.3 patch. See if that gives you your landing gear back.

Note. When I upgraded my graphics card from the GTX470 to the GTX770, I didn't encounter any problems with the landing gear not showing up.

I've sorted the problem by a reload and suspect that part of the problem may have been not resetting the FSX graphic resolution

After reading tons of info here and elswhere about the copy protection and its solutions, I choosed to have a go with the 777. Chances to be succsessfull seemed to be high. Unfortunately, none of the solutions mentioned work for me. Tried rather strange combinations as well...
Shame, I really would love to fly this beautiful bird. :-?

Im also aware that Im using the wrong tools: Win8.1 / P3Dv2. ::)
A dream-team regarding performance on my rig. The C130 is performing extremely well. So I hope I can use the 777 the same way sometime in the future.
