If when you first load the 767, you see 000 in the MACH/IAS Indicator and 00000 on the Altitude Hold Indicator, then reload the 767 before doing everything.

Recently though, I have found that if I don't reload the 767, I can get it going. I also noticed that the engine generators did not take over. All I do to get them to work is click on the GEN DRIVE DISC Switches on the O09. ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL (see the image below).


As you can see, the Left GEN DRIVE DISC Switch is OFF, while the right one is ON, so the EICAS displays a warning for the L GEN OFF.
So just open the switch guard and click on the button to connect your engine generators.

Another thing that I find with this fault (bug?) is that the Heading Preference Switch is also set to TRUE instead of HDG REF NORM. I have heard that if it is left on TRUE, that the 767 will have problems flying the FMC Route. Fortunately, I have always set it to HDG REF NORM before leaving the gate.
