Nope. Sorry, but I have never seen anything like that before. What is your screen resolution (as in mine are set to 1920 x 1080)?

1920 x 1080 as well. Same thing in full screen mode and windowed mode / 2D and VC.

My Panel folder contains the following ADI gauge:

Captain_Sim.b757.adi.gau
287 KB
10/30/2011 11:26AM

FSPanel studio shows it as a FS2002 gauge with two resources 1000 and 1001.

Panel.cfg calls for this gauge:

gauge59=Captain_Sim.b757.adi!Main, 408, 705, 227, 180

I wonder if this one file may be corrupt or not compatible with something else I have installed. I would think if it were corrupt that the fresh reinstall would have cleared that.

Thank you again,

-Ken

Loaded the latest WHQL drivers for my Nvidia and still no change.

Sent a ticket to CS support.

Update: this seems to only happen if the aircraft is loaded with the engines not running (cold and dark). If the engines are running, i.e. load another aircraft, start the engines, then load the CS 757 then the ADI is normal.

While it may seem like this is solved, I do not believe that I should have to load another aircraft and start the engines every time I wish to use the CS 757. Call me silly, but I think the CS 757 should load correctly from a cold and dark save file.

I know, I can be so unreasonable!  :-/

While it should load normally regardless of whether the engines are running or not, at least you have a way to get it to look normal doing that.

What happens if you start the 757 with the engines running, then load the 757-200 Cold-n-Dark (KSEA) flight?

I went full circle, loaded the default cold-n-dark (ADI had same issues) loaded with the ready for take-off (ADI was fine), reloaded the cold-n-dark and the ADI was fine. Seems as long as the engines are running the ADI loads just fine, if the engines are shutdown then the ADI does it funky thing.

Worse case I can restart the engines before saving my end flight so the aircraft loads with engines running next time then just shut down the engines. Not the best solution but better than loading multiple times.

After shutting down the engines from the 757-200 Cleared for takeoff (KSEA) flight, and then reloading the 757-200 Cold-n-Dark (KSEA) flight, IF the texture looks fine, save that as a flight. Then next time, load the newly saved cold-n-dark flight to see if it is looks normal. That might just be the solution you are looking for.

I tried that, next time you load without the engines running the ADI is messed up. Once the airplane is loaded with an engines running condition then the ADI will be fine.

It seems that either I leave MSFS running all of the time, or I save my flights right before shutting down the engines.

Definitely a very strange problem. I can't understand why it happens like that for you. :(
