Mine is always set to "Recommended" and I've never had any problems with installing/running Captain Sim products. :-/

@MARTINI. If FSX is installed in the default location (C:\Program Files (x86)\ etc), then you might need to run FSX as an administrator. You can set it to "run as administrator" permanently by Right clicking on fsx.exe > Properties > Compatibility Tab > Run this program as an administrator (under Privilege Level)
