Reminds me of the Big Bang Theory episodes where one character is building a model of the DNA of a silicon-based life form, and his born-again Christian mother says, "But still intelligently designed by a Creator, right?" ;D
And by the way, microbes can survive the harsh conditions of space. Look up "tardigrades".
