Right at the end of installing the C-130 X-perience, a box pops up about installing open al. In the box it says something about Creative Labs, Inc., (it also has what looks like a microphone between the words open and al) so I have always assumed it is sound related. I just select CANCEL and it does not install open al. As soon as I select CANCEL, the installation of the C-130 is finished. ;)

I have attached an image of the box that pops up so you can see what I'm talking about.

I'm not sure if it makes any difference, but I have installed the C-130 with and without it and it always works fine regardless of that being installed.

EDIT. I found this about OPENAL: OpenAL is a cross-platform 3D audio API appropriate for use with gaming applications and many other types of audio applications.
