Title: FSX mouse look not working?
Post by NNewcomb on Jul 6th, 2012 at 3:13am
Ever since I got my new laptop, the mouse look hasn't worked! Whenever I use it, the plus sign appears, but when I move my finger over the pad, nothing happens. One morning it was working. But it hasn't done anything else since. Solutions anyone?

Playing fsx on a laptop, with integrated graphics what's more?

You deserve a medal for getting it to run in the first instance.
Did you hold down the spacebar when moving the mouse?

He has a powerful Laptop now. It has a dedicated graphics card. But he does deserve the medal for using FSX on his old Laptop! ;)

Yes, I hold it down when I move the mouse. I had no issues with it on my old laptop. Maybe there is a setting or something i'm missing?

Haha, Mark, my old laptop and FSX....yeah....that was pretty bad!

I have just re-installed FSX after having a year or so off and have run into a few issues like this when attempting to get things properly sorted.

I installed EZCA and had all kinds of view problems so that could be an issue. I un-installed, cleaned the registry, re-installed and it was still wonky.
So then I went into views and reset everything back to default using the defaults radio button.

That worked for me.

I have so many setup issues that I will start a new thread. I have to collate all my questions first. There's too many different options to remember them all.

Well???? Can you please tell us how you fixed it, instead of keeping us in suspense? :D ;D
This could come in handy if anyone else has the same problem. ;)
