Hi !  I have a bit of a problem. I went back to my FSX program after several months of not flying and I attempted to open the weapons panel and discovered the control keys no longer work. I can move the controls manually with my pc mouse but the weapon panel is not activated.It shows zero rounds left and does not engage radar lock when in close proximity to another plane.  I hope there is a quick and easyfix to my problem; Any help will be apreciated.

The display of all zeros for the amount of ammo means that there is a script error in the CSWeapon.xml file.

The reason for that could be one of several:

1) Weapon for FSX was not installed with administrative rights.
2) The Loader was not run with administrative rights.
3) FSX was not run with administrative rights.
4) a combination of all the above.

This is often a problem if your Operating System is Vista or Windows 7.
To run them as an administrator, right click on the file - the Weapon for FSX installer, or the Loader shortcut in the START menu or fsx.exe in the FSX root folder.

The CS weapon for FSX was working properlywhen I last used it several months ago. When I first returned to the program it  no longer worked properly... Something chnged. I was running the FSX program and the weapon for FSX in administrative rights. I rechecked the CS weapon loader and it showed it as already loaded. I am running Windows 7.
Any easy fixes?

Thanks for the help Markoz; from your response I figured that my system was corrupted somehow so IO uninstalled  CS weapon for FSX and reinstalled it. It now works greatT.
That's how a peer to peer forum is supposed to work. individuals working together for the common good.  It's been a pleasant experience.
