Gents,
As the 1.0 is out we'd like to highlight some important points:

1. Thank you all who have took part in the 0.X versions testing. Your input is very appreciated. This was the first but hopefully not the last STEP II EXPERIMENTAL release.

2. Before installing the 1.0 please uninstall EVERYTHING from the 737 family. Including ALL saved flights and mods. EVERYTHING!
Optional: To be 100% safe you could delete all 737 keys in your regitry (re-activation will be required).

3. The base pack (737-200) always has to be installed FIRST and uninstalled LAST. Order of the expansion models install-uninstall does not matter.

4. Does the 1.0 have some bugs? Yes, same as any complex software. But,
What is a 'bug'?
If something is described in manuals as functional, but it does not work or works not as described - it is a 'bug'.
If something is not listed in manuals as functional, therefore it does not work or does not exist in the model - it is not a 'bug'. It is just a reasonable simplification (RS).
If you have something important to report please use our support system.

5. Shall we continue development of the 1.0? Yes, but now the 737 in on the regular updates schedule (usually a few updates per year, so now the 737 is the last in the line after the 757, 767, etc.)

How long before the full manuals are released? Is there going to be a more detailed section in the manuals in regards to the PDCS?

It easier to read the the NAV/COM settings. I can see the difference between v0.9 and v1.0. NICE! :)

Yeah, thanks for 1.0 and thanks for all the work the testers and CS have put into that one. It wasn't easy for me to wait for 1.0, but it came fast and, so far, looks very well done.  :)

Well, there was some turbulence but we managed to get the passengers and cargo to their destination.  Great job to Captain Sim and all the testers
who put in so much to get this great product...... :) :) :) :)

Release version looks really good.  There seems to be lots of improvements over 0.9.

I don't understand? From the image CoolP included in his reply, you are not on the winning list. So unless you were using another name, you are not a winner. If you were using another name at the time, then all you need to do is use the Contact Us form to sort it out. :-?

OK. I'm pretty sure I get it now!

1) You guessed the 737-200 in the competition, yet Captain Sim announced that the 737-100 is going to be the next product, so you were not one of the winners.
2) There were only 6 winners, so 4 people who guessed the 737-100/200 were also awarded a free copy of the 737-100. You were still not on the winners list.
3) Then Captain Sim decided to make the 737-200 the Base Pack. You feel that because of their change of mind, you should be a winner and receive a free copy.

So...What happens to those who did win a free copy of the 737-100 Base Pack (as was originally announced)?

Nothing, they can't take it back once they announced the winners.

I believe they made an error and should bear the repercussions.

I just wanted CS to know I wasn't happy about it. It was an "inside post" after I got a short "sorry" email.

makes me feel cheated, like it was fixed. Too many people guessed 200 so they went with the 100...I don't know but something isn't right. >:(

Thanks from the southern tip of Africa. Flew many hours as a passenger on these beauties and will have many more happy hours as a "pilot" :) A general word of thanks for other aircraft and catering for liveries in South African and African colour schemes as well. I appreciate it :)

I need help with this 737 200 base Pack software.

I've upload it several times. it's visible in the FSX menu. But when you select it to fly. When it pulls up. It appears as a ghost. Nothing there but a faint image of itself ?  

I'd be grateful if could get me started.

If I had that problem, it was usually because my settings were too high for my graphics card. It used to happen a lot back when I had a Nvidia 9800GTX+ graphics card. Since moving up to a GTX470, about 2.5 years ago, I have not had this issue.

So try bringing your graphics settings down a bit. ;)
