Why I cannot install the Weapons for FSX on my new Windows 7 Pro (64bit) computer because the activation window never shows up (the installation goes on, but the progran doesn't work because of lacking activation), but can easily install it on my 5 years old second computer with Windows XP Pro (32bit) where the activation shows up? The later is too slow to run FSX to use the program anyway.

The only difference is that the activation window never showed up in my new computer, but did while installing on the old. I first tried on the new one of course, but because it didn' t succeed, I tried it to the old one to bee sure that the installation program isn't corrupted.

While installing on the W 7 Pro I did it as administrator (as told in the manual) and even took off the UAC. What more should I do?

Maybe your antivirus is causing problems.

As an example, I updated my Avast Antivirus (Free version) recently and it now has an affect on the installing and uninstalling of my add-ons. More specifically, the Captain Sim 737 Experimental (v0.6 through to v0.9). I had to turn of the "shields" OFF (I selected to turn them off for 10 minutes) so that the installers would work like they were supposed to work.

Sometime (recently) they changed how it works with the computer. I know I need to turn the "shields" OFF if the installer gets a red box (frame) around it.
