After looking at the licensing, it is not a cheap venture. Free upgrades for point updates (i.e. 1.3, 1.4 etc.), but a price must be paid for the next major update (i.e 1.x - 2.0, 2.x - 3.0 etc.). Not that promising really. Not sure I want to pay $US50 for each major update unless it really proves to be worth it. I might wait until v2.0, so I get a good run with it (hopefully).

I almost went through the whole process of buying it and never saw it ask why I wanted the Academic version. Maybe they don'y worry too much about it. :-/
