Have you ever tried to change the flight level half way through a flight?  I tried but it did not make a difference.  If I change the FL after first setting it does that screw up the T/D?  This is to be expected because of weather changes, it should not screw your flight plan.  I'm just afraid that it might screw up my flight.  I live in fear sometimes. :D
