Anyone know how to control the VNAV descends?  I get erratic descends, slow, fast, steep, shallow.  It is not nice and steady.  The speed varies up and down, it does not make sense.  What do I have to do to get descends so I don't get get an over-speed warning?  anything?  Am I doing something wrong? :-?
