The tail rudder on the B52 dont seem to work are there any switches i have missed eg hydraulics ?

taffy,

There are hydraulic switches on the left wall under the window (if my memory serves, its been a while), check those first.

Also, check the default flight configuration of your sim (if you have a specific cold and dark mod, it may have turned off things like the default avionics switch, etc.)
