Just purchased the 757 for FS9.  Reason is I,m just getting to learn the FMC.  Tells you how far behind times I am. I can pretty much set up most of the FMC, and get the plane ready to fly, flaps, speed, etc.
Takeoff climb out to about 1500  or more, try to initialize the cmd, or the LNAV or VNAV.  Nothing. Auto pilot will  not turn on.   What am I doing wrong.  If I can just get the cmd to work, I can go from there and work backword, as long as the plane is stabilized.  Autothrottle works.
