Hi, y can't make doppler navigation system get working without loading a flight plan, y mean it only works if y load a flight plan,
if y start a free flight from any airport without a FP it do not works
any more, is that ok or y am doing something wrong?

The Doppler navigation does not use a flight plan. The plan is created on the map (Shift + 4) as you change the heading and distance.

Check-in to Your Profile > Select product > Customer Support > Search KB or Submit New Ticket and search for KB #5968. It is a Quick Start Tutorial on how to use it.

Hi Markoz, thanks you again for your feedback, y know that "The Doppler navigation does not use a flight plan" what y wanted to ask is
why if you chose an airport from the free flight page without loading a flight plan, the DNS never works, try it and you will know what y am saying, y think this is a software issue and y wanted to know if this only exists on my sistem or not.

By the way, Mark, if it's not to much trouble, could you post the code for putting the GPS in the 707 for use with the doppler nav (since the flight plan gets removed when you load the flight)? Thanks! (Sorry I keep asking about thing's you've answered before  ::))

Do this:

Under [Window Titles], add
...
WindowXX=GPS


[WindowXX]
background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=303,283
position=2
visible=0
ident=GPS
gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0,303,283

Change XX to the next available number. So if the last entry in the panel.cfg [Window Titles] is Window05=Crew Messenger, then it will be Window06=GPS and the [WindowXX] becomes [Window06] and SHIFT+7 will be how you open it. If you want to replace the MAP included with the 707 you would change it like this:

Under [Window Titles], replace Window03=Map with Window03=GPS

And you replace everything under [Window03] with this

background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=303,283
position=2
visible=0
ident=GPS
gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0,303,283

Make sure to backup the panel.cfg before making the changes in case you mess it up.

I have both the Map and the GPS in mine, so the GPS is Window06.
Window07 is the Civa INS (one window opens all the INS stuff and I am currently working on adding the dual INS in Window07 because I hate having to open multiple windows for the INS. ;)

Huh. I just got around to doing this today and it's not working--I double-checked, and everything is as you said. Is there something else I need to do?  :-?

Copy and paste everything in the under [Window Titles] and everything for the gauge.

[Window Titles]

Window01=blah blah
etc.....
WindowXX=GPS

gauge00=....

I'll see if I can spot the problem.
