All I can do is tell you what I do. 1) Turn the IRS knobs directly to NAV. Turning them to ALIGN, then aligning them, then setting them to NAV causes too many problems for me. 2) Wait until the CDU notice ENTER IRS POSITION. Enter the position. Then create the route after the alignment. This is very easy because it only takes about 30 seconds to align the IRS. If that doesn't help. You will probably need to provide more information on how it is that you align the IRS in the 757. Mark

Hi! Mark. Thanks a million. I will try it out. Also if u are using the captain 727, I was curious to know idf u get the heading display in numerals. I see it popping up in the tutorials in u tube but dont see it in my package.
