Hi to all just question has anybody manage to fix that sound problem . every time I fly i have to get sound down i can stand it anymore.
I have even bought TSS sound for c 130 makes sound better but it does not fix the problem. Please if anybody fixed that or at least know how to change for some default turbo props sound I would do that it is just driving me crazy.  :-[ cheers Petr

I don't have that problem with the sound on mine. My problem is that the sound fades in and out a lot.

I bought a payware C130 sound set: Turboprop Simulations - Lockheed C-130 Hercules Sound Pack FSX (AUD$14.05) which is very nice. I know that you probably don't want to spend extra money on a sound set, so you might want to try this free set I found at Simviation.com: http://www.simviation.com/1/browse-FS+Sounds-107-8, scroll down until you see C-130 Lockheed Hercules (it was the sixth one down) on that page in the FS Sounds section.

hi thanks for reply . I bought the same from tss it does sound good must say ,but only when is running . Very much having the same problem as you . all the time have to stop the sound in fsx and then turn it on again so it get reset .So it seems like there isn't any fix to it . I wonder if there will be release any fix for C 130 .  :-?

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the sound for the C-130 X-perience is a strange setup. Of particular notice, at the end of installing the C-130 X-perience, a window regarding the installation of something to do with the sounds, pops up.

There is an update planned for the C-130 X-perience, but I don't think it is high up on the list yet, so it could be quite a while before we see it.

I have noticed how loud it is at full throttle (just like the real thing) Once at altitude I back of the throttles, engage the AP (Track GPS) no more loud engines.

HI regarding to sound again does anybody know when they have patch to fix this issue even TSS still makes they terrible cracking sound I don't get it with any other plane . Just bought hd c337 no probs with sound I really don't get what taking them so long . Cheers petr

A small development team.
The 777-200 & 737-100/200 are in production
A patch for the 757 hopefully not very far off. A patch for the 767 should follow soon after

More people are asking for patches for other Captain Sim products, than are asking for a patch for the C-130. The 727, B-52, 707 and Weapon for FSX might also get a patch before the C-130 too. You might be in for quite a long wait. :(

Maybe its just me, but there has been issues with C-130X v1.3 since 2009.   sound, Glide slope/ILS Needles not moving.. Little fixes that if CS would just spend alittle time fixing we would stop worrying about it.  The 777, B52, 737 and all is great but I myself still use the FS9 CS C-130 and Everything works great there, sound, Glideslop/ILS needles move and track...  maybe if they can tell me how to take the FS9 stuff to make FSX work then that would be something.   I have been a long time supporter of CS as many of us are and all we look for is alittle fix, SP, update to help resolve our concerns.
