Title: Landing Gear Problem

Hello. I installed an updated HUD for the F-18D and the landing gear disappeared and the flight controls locked. Is there a way to fix this?

Check you panel.cfg and make sure you have the line in bold text at the bottom of the [Vcockpit01] entry.

If it is missing, so will your landing gear be missing.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the help but its still not working :'(. I put that line into the panel.cfg file for the new panel (its just an updated HUD), but now the controls still dont work and the wheel chocks, dust excluders, and a few other animations show up when I try to fly and they won'y go away with the Animation Control Panel. I'm not sure what to do. If anybody else has any reccomendations, feel free to tell me.

Hi Patrick.

Seeing that all you did was update HUD, my guess is that something in the panel.cfg is causing the landing gear to disappear. Is the updated HUD a freeware one that I can look into? If you want to, I can check it out for you to see if I can sort out the problem for you.

I fixed it!!! ;D

I probably did something dumb in the installation so I re-did it and it works well now. Thanks for your help Mark!
