Gandy
Since we are both concerned with the 752 let's just forget the 753 engine combinations. I fly both the PW and RR engined plane. On the CDU of the Delta plane it indicates PW2037 as the engine. On the American Airlines CDU the IDENT page shows a RB211-525E4 which is probably a typo error. It probably should be RB211-535E4. The PW 2037 is 36600 thrust. The 535E4 is 40200 thrust. How does 40117 thrust constitute a good comprismise between 36600 and 40200 for the aircraft cfg file? If you fly only RR engined 752s' I believe 40117 is close enough to 40200 for government work. As long as the CDU IDENT page is changed to refelect a 535E4 and not a 525E4 everything if fine for you. I would like to see the CDU IDENT pages changed to PW 2040 and RB211-535E4 and then 40177 would be an acceptable thrust level comprimise. We'll see what version 4.5 brings. Michael Cubine |
