WHy does the 707 cockpit has less wear than the 727? The 727's yoke has almost all the paint worn off, the 707 is near perfect.

That's because the pilots that flew the 727 had a death grip on the yoke!  ;)

All kidding aside, the 707's never looked as bad as the 727 yokes. Maybe it was the paint, but Captain Sim got the look just right.
